How to adjust the Priority Order of Carers contact details

You can change the order contacts appear for a given student (or any community member who has a carer). The idea of the ordering is to allow the contacts of a student (both parental and emergency contacts) to be set in preference order.  This will then determine the order in which the people on this list should be contacted. Simply, the first on the list is the first to be contacted.  

To create a priority order

  1. Go to Menu > School Community > Search Students.

  2. Search and select the student to view their profile. 

  3. Select the Relationships button.

     

  4. Click Reorder.

     

  5. Use the arrows to adjust order.

  6. Once completed click Save. This order will also appear when contacts are generated in reports.
