Approving Actionable Items



Actionable items can include 

  • School permissions

  • Unexplained absence notifications

  • Calendar event permission requests

 
To access actionable items

  1. Tap the Action Required icon

 

 

2. Select the item you wish to action

 

 

3. Follow the prompts

 



Student Permissions

Please be aware that any existing student permissions that have been set up under system codes that have not already been approved or denied will show as actionable items for the parent.

Absence Explanations

A pre-defined list of absence reasons has been provided, as well as a free text field. 
Any unknown absence will automatically appear as an actionable item, including historical absences. If this is the case in your school, please contact CountryNet Support to discuss options for bulk updates to these absences.

Calendar Events

Calendar event permissions can be approved or denied within the application by parents. The permission result will automatically update the calendar event participant list.
