Student Searches

Leaving all filter options unticked will now return all results without the student's enrolment state considered.

In the Search Community Member screen, this will return all community members, including non-students), unless another student-specific filter is applied.

Searching for classes

Schools that have an academic year that spans two calendar years can now search for classes for the current academic year, with any of the following criteria:

• First calendar year
• Last calendar year
• Academic year level
• Class name

Sick Bay Visits

A new date and time selector has been added for Sick Bay Visits. Just enter the time in 12-hour format, and click AM to switch to PM, or vice versa.

Please note that the positions of these fields may vary, depending if a school has single- or multi-campus configuration.

General

The loading bar that appears after when opening Educonnex will simply appear as the regular Educonnex loading animation on a blank page. This is just a cosmetic change - the functionality remains the same.

ADMINISTRATION

Student Roll-Over

Two indicators have now been added to ensure that the next natural progression of rolling over students is clear to the user who is performing the action.

When selecting the academic year to roll over, completed years are marked as such:

This indicates to the user that they should be selecting the next academic year level which is not marked with '(Completed)'.

Additionally, a notification will appear when performing a roll-over (even in test mode), to indicate any academic years prior to the select one, that have not yet been rolled over.

Educonnex will not consider a roll-over to be completed, if only performed in test mode.

CALENDAR EVENTS

Recurring Calendar Events

Recurring calendar events will now show the first event start/end date/time, the frequency or repetition, and the final recurrence in the series. This is to give users a chance to confirm the parameters they have entered, and the span of the series of events they are creating. Users should pay careful attention to these details, to avoid having to deactivate large numbers of events as well as any complications that may arise as a result. 

Fixes

Enrolments

• Addressed an issue where the relationship type was being inverted for a parent, to the become the gender-equivalent child version.

Community Members

• Fixed an issue where community member photos were not updating under certain circumstances.
• Removed guides for entering phone numbers, where the phone number is outside of Australia.
• Searching for past students with inactive profiles will now return the correct results.
• Additional options for 'state' have been added to the address options. The full list of recognised ISO-3166 sub-divisions are now added for the Russian Federation, Iran (Islamic Republic of), and Egypt.

Calendar Events

• Issue with adding a single participant to a calendar event has now been rectified.

Curriculum Management

• Fixed an issue with the timetable creation shortcut keys.

Reports

• Support for Armenian characters added to additional .csv format report generation. It is recommended that when saving this file, that it is changed to a .xlsx format. If saved in .csv, the Armenian characters are not supported by the file type and will appear incorrectly.
