Changes

Community Members

Emergency Contact Preferred Number
The preferred phone number for a carer listed as an Emergency Contact for a student now appearin the Relationships area of the Student Profile.

 
New Employment Classifications
In addition to the existing options for Classifications in Staff Government Position Management, we've also added:

  • Casual Work 
  • Paid Hourly

Please note that these additional categories will not be added to government reports that don't recognise these categories.

 
Community Members who are also Staff
Community Members who are also Staff at the school, will now appear when searching for Community Members.

Home Groups

Add and Edit Home Group Description
Home Group names can now be added and edited. This is available from the menu under Administration > Home Groups.

More functionality is coming soon for Home Groups. Keep an eye out for this in upcoming releases.
 

Calendar Events

Copy Calendar Events
You can now copy an existing calendar event you've already created to a different date. Once you've copied the event, you can then change the other details if required.

 

Curriculum Management

Assessment Marking Reminder
A reminder will appear for staff members who have assessment marking coming up. They will see a notification in the Actions Required window. This will remain in place until the assessment is marked.
 

 
Same Teacher/Location Conflict Warning
If you're creating a timetable and you use the same teacher or location in the same period, a warning will appear. You can choose either change the information, or ignore it, and proceed.

 
Retrospective Changes to Class Teacher / Location
Corrections can now be made to the teacher and location information on completed timetables. To access this, go to Menu > Curriculum Management > Timetables > Search Timetables. 
Tick the boxes on the right of each desired row, click Actions, and follow the prompts. Multiple boxes can be ticked if they will all have the same new value.
             
 
 

Reports

Student Attendance Visualisation Report
This report is now available for a single student, if required.

 
 
 
'Class Attendance Marked By' Report
This report will allow you to check which staff member marked each class, within a specified time range. It is available from the Attendance, Classes, and Staff categories of the Reports page. Set the parameters that you want to search, click Actions, and choose the format you'd like the report in.
 

 
Report Labels
Each of the items in Reports now have a letter in the bottom right of each tile.
R = Report This means the data will appear in a pre-defined format, and the parameters of the report are not editable. 
E = Extract This is raw information pulled from Educonnex, and is not editable.
AD = AdHoc Report This is a customisable report that has been build using the AdHoc report functionality in Educonnex.

 

Tasks

Duplicate Tasks for Other Users 
When creating a task, you can now assign a copy of the task to multiple users. 

Fixes

Enrolment Application Wizard

  • Fixed an issue where international phone numbers in a Community Member profile were not being accepted in the New Application Wizard 

 
Arrivals/Departures 

  • Options for late arrivals and early departures now only appears for students. These options are still available for past students, in case a record needs to be corrected after a student has left.


Login loading time

  • The code for login has been changed to reduce the loading time once a user has successfully entered their login details. This should be most noticeable where there are significant restrictions in a role attached to a user.
