What's new in Educonnex 1.16

New Features

The following new features have been made as part of this release.

Publish AR to Student Profile

Individual student Academic Reports are now available on a new tab under Student Information. From this page, reports can be previewed or downloaded.
Academic reports will only appear here after they have been published.

SWD

A Student with Disability flag has been added to the Community Member Information > Government for students. 
Students who need to be flagged as having a disability for Government Reporting (eg Census) should have this box checked. All government reports that include SWD have been updated to take the information from this field. 

Students from Isolated Areas

A Student from Isolated Areas flag has been added to the Personal Information > Government for students. 
Students who need to be flagged as living in an isolated zone for Government Reporting (eg Census) should have this box checked. All government reports that include students from isolated areas have been updated to take the information from this field. 

Enhancements

The following enhancements have been made as a part of this release:

Search Community Member by Association

Community members can now be searched for based on their association with the school, if the association has been set on the Community Member Information > Associations screen. 

Obsolete System Codes Removed

Categories of system codes that did not relate to any current Educonnex functionality have been removed. 

Reports

The following new/updated reports are available:

Student Attendance Visualisation 

The Student Attendance Visualisation report provides a visual representation of attendance data per year level, across a period of time. 
The report

  • Is presented in graphs and in percentages.
  • Can be run per campus, per year level or for all year levels over a selected period.
  • Shows attendance data per year level in graphs and the overall attendance percentage.
  • Provides a visual representation of the total number of full and partial absences.
  • Provides an overview of the absence percentage per year level per day.


Student Attendance Summary Report by Home Group

The Student Attendance Summary Report by Home Group is an addition to the existing Student Attendance Summary by Year Level, but shows the data by Home Groups. This is located under the Attendance category. 
 

Medical Alert List 

This report contains a list of all students with a medical alert and can include student photos if desired. 
The report

  • Can be grouped by All Student, Home Group or Year Level
  • Lists the students in alphabetical order
  • Includes the student's name and photo, D.O.B. as well as their medical condition
  • Within Educonnex, clicking the link on the student's surname opens the student's profile where detailed information on medical conditions can be found


Please be aware that this report does not include emergency contact details. For reports including emergency contact details, run the Current Students Medical and Emergency Contacts report.

Class List

The class list report can now be set to include student photos if desired. 

Bug Fixes

This release also contains a number of smaller enhancements and bug fixes.
